{Parties} Feathers, Fur & Frou Frou
We saw this party and just had to share it with you!! Feathers, Fur & Frou Frou...Oh My! party by Angela of Fantasy Celebrations an amazing party planner in Houston, USA.
Fantasy Celebrations recently designed the sweetest little party for a client's daughter who celebrated her 2nd birthday. The toddler is fascinated with baby animals - kittens, bunnies chicks ... anything with soft, warm fur. So when the client called Fantasy Celebrations about providing decor that would highlight her daughter's love for baby animals, rather than going with an obvious animal theme, they based the design on what most fascinates the little girl about the animals ... their soft furiness.
Thus, "Feathers, fur and frou frou ... oh my!" was the theme, and incorporated the theme with the use of lots of marabou and chandelle feathers, a soft colour palette of ballet slipper pink and cream, and pearl accents. For entertainment, they hired a company that brought in baby bunnies, little chicks and the cutest miniature ponies!

{Announcement} Petit Couture
It is all happening at the Petit HQ's and this time another great brand is joning us for exclusive distribution to Australia and New Zealand.
Petit Couture, a luxury modern artisan infant and toddler line, enters the Australian and New Zealand children's market with exclusive distribution partnership with Petit Australia.
Petit Couture is a premium line of infant and toddler apparel and accessories with the occasional "mama" item -- primarily geared for fashion-conscious mamas and their offspring. Signature Petit Couture designs were conceived to fill a lack of elegant and whimsical layette and basics in the marketplace with sophisticated colour choices, details and embellishments. The collection has grown to incorporate luxurious layering options comprised of classic-tailored cuts and modern textiles with an assortment of skirts, dresses, knits and sweater knits.
Founder of Petit Couture - Rebecca Kaykas-Wolff said "I'm thrilled to be working with Petit Australia. Their eye for detail and commitment to bringing unique pieces to the Australian/New Zealand market are unparalleled and make for a perfect fit between our two companies. It's exciting to bring Petit Couture to the Australian/New Zealand market where so many amazing artisan collections are available and quality of detail and design coupled with a commitment to ethical business practices are appreciated."
Petit Couture's Spring '11 Ready-To-Wear and Signature Collection will be available to the trade in Australia and New Zealand through Petit Australia starting September 2010.
Petit Couture was conceived after mamapreneur, Rebecca Kaykas-Wolff, realized that very few modern layette and playwear basics existed that were both fashionable and socially-minded. In discussing these limitations with other parents, Rebecca was further convinced that Petit Couture could be a stand-out addition to the fashion-conscious, socially-minded segment of the children's apparel market.
Petit Couture was born in 2009 and debuted its inaugural line of Signature Collection infant layette and toddler play wear basics which proudly display the signature 'owl' on premium quality interlock and cotton blends in a sophisticated neutral palette. Items are crafted in responsible work environments in the USA and Peru. The line is sold in high end boutique and retail environments across the United States at present.
Petit Couture is a classic yet modern, artisan luxury basics collection for fashionable offspring. Petit Couture combines wearable modern dresses, tunics, sweater-knits, skirts and leggings with the Signature Collection to make a stand-out brand that girls and moms will love.
